The Ortega grape originates in Germany and is a hybrid crossing of the Siegerrebewith the Müller-Thurgau. It has a rich, flowery, peach like taste with a naturally high sugar content and low acidity. Ortega is a smooth, versatile wine that not only makes a great Summer wine, but is a treat on the palette all year round.
